Still fooling around with these plague rabbits...they go somewhere, but I'm not sure where, and they're being coy about telling me (or maybe I'm not asking the right questions...) Acrylic medium formed some of the texture here...reminds me of playing with gesso and conte crayon way back when I was in college and took an art class without having any idea how much I'd love it...6 x 6 mixed media on board. PLAGUE rabbit does make sense, in a way. They are, after all, a type of rodent and can carry quite a few diseases.

They used to be classed with rodents, yes, but they've been recognised as separate orders for almost a century βΒ Unless I am missing a new piece of information that reverses that?

Beautiful shading, and there is harmony and variety in the piece. The rhythem draws the eye, and it is very beatiful!
