Description
Well, the bully guy has changed and evolved a lot since its creation around summer 2002, and so has changed and evolved my drawing style....So, when Magz first posted hers some months ago, I decided I would draw my own one also.... and, delayed as usual, here it is....
Lol, and now I guess I should draw Curr's one.... but I think it won't be suitable for DevArt....

An oekaki board is like a regular board, but you can draw there with a simple but powerful tool... then, your art piece can be displayed to the world! ^^
You can try at [link]

Lol, I don't know if I have really changed style, or it's just me taking more time with each sketch, adding details here and there... Who knows, maybe a matter of both things, or maybe it's the usual+celshading mix used lately....
If it works, all will be fine....

ryuumajin [2004-06-01 06:33:53 +0000 UTC]
It seems that I break a lot of sheets rule ^^. I like to draw human-like fingers and toes of you.
Anyway, you have changed. We all change. And looks nice, speaking about 6 pack abs? Hmmmmmmmmm... who don't want that? (I don't ^^)
π: 0 β©: 1
skifi In reply to ryuumajin [2004-06-01 10:50:13 +0000 UTC]
Hey, Ryu, that's only a guide... When an artist draws a non-his character, he always change it a tad, adding his personal touch, or just drawing his own version of him.... I know when I draw you, it's not the same way than when you draw yourself... that's something implied, I think
It would be bored if everybody draws the same!
Lol, and six pack is just easier to draw than a "happy belly".... I'm a crappy artist, I still need to draw easy things.....
*sneaks into Ryuu's portfolio to check how the white-eyebrowed neko has changed in design since his first pictures*

nishi [2004-06-01 02:56:36 +0000 UTC]
Lovely how the hand turn out, and same goes for the hoove area. Cattle seem to have such complex anatomy, well, if your used to their anatomy it doesn't seem more complex... just for others it's different since artists don't draw horses or bulls or cows... or anything like that often, which is a shame. Your style with it always comes out right though. Just one thing that looks odd is how his horn doesn't stick out on the face part in the top right corner, since it's placed close above the eye, I thought it'd show up through the hair, but who knows.
Lmao, sorry for always pointing out things like this... but I love that "This is a G-rated version". Goodness me... I'm impressed how you got all the numbers for the colors though... must be something Photoshop can do...
Anyways, nice reference sheet, I'm sure it'll come in handy and all.

skifi In reply to nishi [2004-06-04 15:01:28 +0000 UTC]
I must recognize I usually draw legs in the "human" way, but for the profile, I wanted to make it look more real, there is always time to "cartoonize" the character lately if you need to.... ^^
About the horn, lol, maybe you are right... *thinks about it* Anatomically you are right, the place is the wrong one, but, I don't know why, I have always placed it there, LOL!
*wonders why* But that's something easy to solve :3
...and I don't handle photoshop.... only Paint Shop Pro.... ^^ I guess it's some kind of color reference for CG programs.....
