Description
This is a sea turtle done with Tagua nut, it was cut from a whole nut and took me about two hours till completion. I sand the nuts brown husk off first and pencil in my design, then rough it out with a Dremel at about 35,000 RPM. After that with a small carving knife I clean off the rough edges and sand it some what smooth with 100 grit sand paper, then pencil in the details and cut in with the smallest bit I have, which is something like what the dentist uses to make you want to bite him! Then sand with 250, 400 and 600 til it sparkles!Related content

Oh my gosh, I love it! I'm envious of your skills AND your patience I don't have steady enough hands for something like that.

Thank you, but you never know until you try, you may find your hands more steady than you thought!
We always make a mess of it on the first two attemps, but the third is the one that makes you know it can be done and you have what it takes.

Maybe so... but I've never made anything like that before. I usually stick to 2 dimensions
