IT'S DONE!!! IT'S FINALLY DONE!!! (it's almost 1 in morning, I didn't eat dinner, and I obviously haven't had any sleep)To quote the posing test:
"So, I was bored and sitting around with my roommates, when I saw a post about the new Captain America costume, which linked to a post about the new Spider-man costume: [link]
...Which I thought was kinda awesome, so I started doing this, for the lulz. Afterall, I've done a few walk cycles, but I've never done a swing cycle. Maybe, once I've finished, I'll do one in perspective?" No. Just no. At least, not with backgrounds.
I threw in the music (from the PS1/N64/PC Spider-man game) because it's awesome, it was a b**** to find (seriously, go look for it), and I thought it went well with the animation (and you can always mute your computer if you don't like it).
Well, it's done, its awesome ('cept maybe the background), and I desperately need some sleep. and yes, he jumps off the rope at the end. No, it doesn't make any sense or have any basis in physics. I thought it was cool, I get one freebie before I have to explain myself. Besides, it's Spider-man. Are you really looking for an science based explanation? (if you are, fantasy, sci-fi or otherwise, is not for you)
Whaddya think?

I must ask, what version of the theme song is this? and how many frames was in this animation?

This song ... didn't have a name, as far as I know.... oof, its been a while since I've had to look for it. The file name on my computer says "Spiderman Theme," but that could just be my obsessive naming conventions at work. The song was from the 90s Spider-man video game for the N64 and original Playstation. The band who made it was called Apollo 440.
As far as how many frames? Well, lessee, its 79 frames total, but that's not taking into account how many frames were doubled up for timing. Then its "only" 61 frames, hahaha. the framerate was 24 frames per second.

Colin man!
I'm feeling this so much dude.
What did you use to composite the final product and music.
Is it all in Flash?
Either way man... keep up the hard work, bro.

Thanks, dude! That means a lot.
It's all Flash, man. All Flash (well, 'cept for the roughs [link] , those were Plastic animation paper). Instead of setting the music to "stream," its playing as an "event," so it keeps going rather than reseting with the animation and resets on its own at the end.

Plastic Animation paper [link] for the roughs [link] , and Flash for the rest (cleanup and backgrounds). I actually had to export and re-import the frames because the file was starting to slow down during export tests.

Animation's great. BG's work well. The only problem with them is that when he's at his lowest you see the bottom of the artwork. just extend them down a bit and you're good
