This page was easier to colour than usual... due to the fact two of the panels were taken directly from page four of the last issue:
I would have liked to include a panel from this page too: But it was too crowded so I drew a different picture of Bernice instead.
So yes... all the way back in Sky Monster, I laid the seeds for this particular reveal... Alpha wasn't convinced about his parents being replaced... Until he heard "Bernice" call him a "Sweetie Boo"... which eagle eyed readers with good memories would remember that Bernice is more inclined to throw up rather than say that phrase... Thus Alpha knew the mysterious messenger was telling the truth, and so he ran away... Just before his fake parents burnt the house down...
That's the end of the flashback portion of this story... Alpha still has a bit more of his tale to tell, which we will see, next time!

Alpha suddenly looks 10 times cooler when you switch his usual expression to this badass focused look in the 3rd panel. However, that shot would look better if Alpha's ear was't cut. Just a little advice about the composition.
