Β Oil on canvas. 50x45 cm.ΒJoint space program of the Russian Federation and the United States, in which Russian cosmonauts were delivered into orbit "Shuttles", and American astronauts conducted expeditions to the orbital station "MIR".
The purpose of this program was to transfer the U.S. Russian experience of long-term flights and to strengthen the spirit of cooperation between NASA and the RCA. The programme served as a preparation for a joint project to build an International space station. In February 1995, "Discovery" flew to "MIR" by 11 metres).
