Description
The beast appeared before me, a slender shining shape out of the inky darkness, black as night. It seemed to me to be a golden light, a guiding lantern amidst an impenetrable fog of night. It stared at me, its eyes tracing over my form, as if to read it and understand it. It seemed as though, in that moment, we had stumbled upon each other, two forms meeting in a strange land, each not entirely comprehending the other. Curious strangers, we departed after a while, each going our own ways into the never-ending vastness of nowhere.

Another experiment in the vein of my last piece, Fade. I really, really like doing these. Maybe I'll share my process for making them sometime- it's like a way of carving a form out of blobs of color, such that you never know what sort of strange creature will emerge. It's quite exciting.

I think I was subconsciously inspired by Suicune on this one, I love that horn-thing it has, even if it looks a tad unwieldy sometimes x)

...the water isn't very exciting on this one...XD
