.... FINALLY!!!Gee, this comic killed me the last two and a half days (yeah, it really took THAT long...)
Ok, to the comic ^^
I was really suprised to see in a fandom that mostly produces f/f fanfiction there is so few m/m stuff and usually people are avoiding it like hell xD
(I know there are much less male characters and so m/m is pretty rare, but the general reaction to it is extremely funny)
Love and tolerate... my flank ^^ Some of the best fanfics I have read are m/m so I support this genre with all my heart
So this is kind of a parody to the general double moral amoung Bronys

The MLP M/M fanfics I've read tend to be pretty good. From my experience, it seemsΒ more thought and effort goes into makingΒ yaoiΒ stuff, and yaoiΒ deserves toΒ be respected.

Not a brony, but I can tell anyone with utmost certainty that this comic illustrates many levels and areas of society in a light that a lot of people just do not want to see. It is shameful behavior to be so hypocritical and so we want to pretend it just doesn't happen, and we get mad when someone pulls the wool from our eyes. But just as the angry children in elementary school responded with rage when told of their own misbehavior, so do most people respond when told of their intolerant behavior. It's not harder to face your own problem, its just much more tempting to pretend it's someones else problem.

I think there are two reasons for this.
1. The ridiculously imbalanced Male-Female ratio.

This have not noticed actually. I have generally (in my head) assumed that, given 1. The observed sex ratio is probably 6:1 ; 2. Assume that there are no polygamy (at least assume that it is rare)
Conclusion: probably a lot of the ponies are homosexual, to the point that it is the norm, and heterosexual is uncommon.
As for the apparent lack of m/m, that is obviously explainable: there are very few stallions in the show anyway! But maybe it is also due to some strange hatred against m/m. I don't know.
