Description

Laura shuddered as the monster poured it’s silver essence in and around her body, each thrust pushing away more of her humanity. Her mind was blanked out, the relentless assault having pushed her over the edge. However, the silvery tentacles didn’t cease, pushing itself further in to make way for the new host.

Within the alien’s countless simulations, it has decided that the next step with the best outcome is to create a secondary copy of itself. The alien had deemed the model “Maya” to be quite proficient, and went about to duplicate it onto the newly acquired body.

One of “Maya”’s tentacle raised itself over Laura’s head, it’s tip melting away to reveal a crystalline blade, the alien’s data jack. Without further ado, it pierced straight into Laura’s brain, downloading itself and synchronizing the two minds. By this time, Laura was already lost, the silver slime fully enveloping her body, pulsing in waves, remodeling it to match “Maya”.

The two silvery creatures seemed to move in a strange, slow dance. “Maya” taking the lead and guiding the new copy. The copy’s movement was erratic at first, but slowly matched with “Maya” as their minds become synchronized. Soon, the two of them were indistinguishable from each other, both moving at the same pace and rhythm.

Having secured it’s copy, the alien now moves on to it’s next targets: the remaining crews of the station.
