Seriously though...people act like you shouldn't talk about certain topics around kids because they won't understand or they'll be confused. Kids these days are smarter than people give them credit for. Of course, this stamp is aimed more at kids that are old enough to go to school, but prodigies do exist...and you don't have to go to school to learn stuff.It's a well known fact that kids learn things faster than adults...so, underestimating their ability to understand complex topics does a disservice to both them and yourself.

Ehh they can be though? Not saying i'd treat a kid I know disrespectfully or anything (but if someone else's crotch goblin acts up and is being a brat then idfc i'll yell at that kid and give the parent an earful too) but kids don't know much in comparison to adults, that's why we teach them. And some kids are willfully stupid, they think it's funny/ makes them look cool whatever.

Well yeah, but this is mostly aimed at folks who act like kids don't know anything at all and are incapable of learning. Disciplined your kid, care for your kid...but don't smother your kid... that sort of thing.

There are ALOT of kids that I see that are smarter and more mature than the majority of adults I know.
