Description
Okay, zipped archive packed with 20 highquality jpeg screentones, all at around standard A4 size paper. They were generated, and I believe I don't need to hold so much ownership of it. You can credit me if you want to. Just don't sell this pack around, I made them free for a reason. One more thing: THESE ARE JUST DOTS. Don't expect ANYTHING huge.Warning: Unzipping this file will give you not 6.4 megs but actually well over 60 megs. (Mybad, thanks to the quailty and the stupidity of mine)
If you have trouble with the files inside or even unzipping it, tell me immedietly, give me specific details of what you see when doing your task. I will try to help.
This is just the start. I'm making more "Patterned" screentones for myself. But then again, I'm going to share them
I also hope this file fits here in this catagory.

Thanks a bunch for all these awesome screentones!!!! I hate to say though, but after I downloaded screentone lines part 1 and 2, it stopped allowing me to extract the image files from the other packs. It would cay that I'm replicating two blank files (Basic Tones and _MACOSX - both with 0 bytes), then only show those files in the end. I can view the images while they're still in their compressed state, but I can't access them or use them. 
If you have any idea as to what I should do, please let me know!!! And Thanks in advance ^__^

Ok. I'll go check. Btw, just so you know, in artist's comments of all my toned drawings(Which is all I'll really put on DA 'cause Shutterfly doesn't do tones right.) then I'm always stating hat I used your packs. Random fact.

So... How did you make them? Btw, what would really help me is if you made a pack of varying sized flashes, I don't know how to do flashes and propoblly couldn't so those would help.

True. The only reason why I didn't do them was becuase I figured that there were Photoshop Pattern Packs that exactly had the sort of thing. If you check out "All time favorites" for the Resources > Misc category on dA you'll find it fairly on the top. And they're fairly useful so its worth it.
So for my part I'd rather make stuff that nobody really makes. In other words, ScreenTone packs that contain original patterns that I made for dA specifically.
But thanks for the suggestion, I'll consider making something.

Thanks alot! I was attempting to make screen tone before from tuts but it always failed, but then I searched this 'cause my bro had found and downloaded GIMP brushes so I figured I'd download some tones and found this! Even better then what I wanted, a pack of tones! It' so easy to do, too, and to clean up. I already toned an old drawing with it! Go over to my galley and see "Eskimo Toned" to see! Thanks again! Keep up the good work! I'm gonna make a manga and these will help alot! How did you make them?

YUp, I had this problem too (didn't know the heck they were for)
This is a collection for those manga artists. Screentones are a tool for them to shade in the parts of whatever they want to.
If you ever read japanese manga, you'll notice that there are lots of bits shaded, this is what most use, screen tones.
They are also extremely helpful when it comes to expressing emotions or speed. This pack, however, consists of only the "shade in tones" meaning that the artists can use this to shade in the bits they want to. It was not specified for other uses such as showing emotion.
Also, screen tones makes printing cheaper. Since they are "DOTS" and having more white spaces means not a lot of ink being used. (As the opposite, when you shade in a part of the manga fully-gray you will waste lots of ink.)
