Step 4: Applying the Sculpey mane and painting it.

Baked at ~180 F for about 20 minutes. The grooves in the hair were made by rolling a dime across the clay before applying it to the figurine, due to lack of a better tool.

Two shots - the left is with the base coat of paint, and the right is after a wash and a dry-brush, to accent the detail in her hair. (As you can see, it had gotten darker outside while applying the wash.)
