Penny likes to watch the birdies. lots of cats live nearby, but all the birdies are too smart to be eaten. They tease her by perching on the windowledges and laughing at her.

Once one was sat in a tree at waist height halfway up the road, it was cawing so loudly I could hear it from my house. When I walked past I was amazed none of my furry friends were stalking it!
When they land in our garden, I lift her up so she can watch them, it's like holding a loaded cat!

We live in the fifth floor, so my cat doesn't see much birds..

Does your cat make the funny chompy, chittering noise when they see birds in the sky?

I'm not sure.. But she makes a funny sound when she hunts the flies that have flown inside the apartment <:

I expect that is the same noise. It is difficult to describe, but lots of cats seem to do it when they see things they want to chase.
