So the story, cause I know it can be confusing, is, in super short, that they met as teenagers, became friends, more than friends, then he got touched by a spell that made him look old (at 17). Then there's a war, they stay side by side, and another war, which results in them being separated for 18 years.

I love this. You caught the moment perfectly. As another commenter said, it's all in the eyes. You portrayed the love they have for each other so well that all you needed was a single word to set up the scene. This is definitely a pairing I can get behind.

Ha, stars.. <3 I keep meaning to comment on your arts here but never get the chance.. >///< I'm really sorry. But I wanted to comment on this one a lot cause it feels.. very important. From what you tell me, Perry's species doesn't age as fast so .. it must have been hard on her, to see Khadgar grown and .. unsure if he'd still have those emotions from years ago. But she still had hope, right ? And that's what matters, and that she had the courage to approach him. And Khadgar's reaction is.. breathless, I'm sure he couldn't believe his eyes when he saw her, and I'm sure he felt the same - unsure if she'd have the same feelings, too. But you can see here that the hope they had in each other never wavered. And that's beautiful. I really love the expressions here, the soft purples and blues, it really brings the .. comfort and gentle air to the moment and.. somehow, the expressions in their eyes.. I don't know. It's so strong and you drew it so well. You don't need to see any parts of the face to see what they're feeling, just the eyes. And that's important.
You're improving SO much, Drew. I am so proud of you and the more you draw, the more better you become. I'm happy to see them both. <3
