Description  Thank you guys for the wonderfull feedback it was super helpfull, this is the final ingame result (not Rigged and animaited tho)

I hope you still think it looks cool

---------------
the idea behind it is that we wanted it to be a domesticaited animal (enemy unit) that can pounce on the player, so it should have some feline/cat like qualeties and feel to it.
the world it fits in is one dominaited by humans that worship snakes. its a old culture that have elements of renecanse/enciantpersian/enciant egyptian time periods. its a low tec society were the humans use swords and crossbows.

here are some screens of the worlds it sepose to be in, also notice the scale and style of the models, chunky, clean, big gradients. not to high detail level to avoide noisey models

Awesome! The final rendering looks really cool, but not very feline. Maybe it's the color; tawny would fit a feline animal more than blue green

Oh, and a last idea... Perhaps emphasizing the cheekbone to make it wider would give it a more snake-ish look. I'd be glad to have your opinion on this idea even if you don't take it (I understand it's the final version), I'm trying to design a creature that is inspired by snakes myself ^^

Looks good to me.
If anything I feel maybe the collar could sink a bit more down, as it looks like it poke more out on the top than bottom, despite looking quite heavy. But nothing else.

I think he's cool. I go with the musculature and certainly the coller is chunky but see how that goes when his muscles are pumped.
I know its feline based but how about some back spines that are flat to the body when with the handler but raised when he's gonna rip something apart perhaps.
You got some cool stuff going on in your gallery too

thats a really cool idea with the back spines! it would also give the player a chance to get ready and possibly doodge ( at least a very clear indecation of what is about to happen apart from normal movment animation) i think i will try it out and see how it goes. only concern is that it will take away from the sleep snake feeling and the focuz of those dangerous jaws

thank you so much for the comment! and i saw you had some very nice hard surface models going on (damn hard surface is hard to make pretty x.x) do keep it up ur definetly heading the right way

daaaamn before even reading the artist's comments, i saw this and thought "This looks like a creature i'd

see in Diablo III" (a video game by Blizzard) this creature is REALLY cool!!

i love that the rest of the body is pretty simplified so that you're eyes are instantly drawn to those

crazy chompers!! i LOVE that you can see the spine along it's back!

the anatomy looks a bit more on the canine side rather than the feline side to me but i think it still looks badass!!

i don't know squat about 3D modeling or anything like that, so I'm afraid i can't critique you on that ;v;

but damn this game looks REALLY fun!!! snap i really want to play it, do you know when it would come out or be ready to play? x'D <3

it looks really good like damn o-o

:3 oh thank you! was so much praise on the look of the game there that i had to share it with my co-workers on the game, really helps boost the moral!
you have some good posetive points as well im super happy you took the time to tell me what you think
and we are aiming for a full relese in september but might be possible to find a alpha key thrue the forced2 website (for9.99dollars i think it is) keep in mind tho its in full develpoment and not balanced atm changes happen every week tho and we love the feedback we get from players and try to make the best game we possibly can.

have a great great day <3

OK, I noticed a few things. The tail seems a little too short to me. Maybe try making it longer and thinner.
The muscles on the front legs look more defined than the rest of the body, try smoothing them to match the hind legs.
The collar looks very heavy. Maybe try a smaller and thinner one.
But very cool design. That head looks menacing, it makes you want to run away

I pretty much agree with all of what you say
The reason the collar is so big is becouse of the Style of our game, its pretty much Chunky, Exagoraited and stylized. its that big simply to tie in to the style of the other models in the game, this is pretty much becouse the model is so small on the screan that we need to make thise design choises for it to look ingame

the tail i would LOVE to make longer but our animaitor dont like tails. acually he wants us to avoid them as much as possible, making it short will at least make it a little easyer for him to animate

Im working on the muscelature  and body defenition right now, im gona try to make the body about the same detail level all over ill update this when i have it done so you can see it

Thank you so much for the feedback :3! i apprichiate it a lot

the musculature on the back of the ribcage could use some work. the two main groups in this area are the infraspinatus and the obliques, The infraspinatus starts under the forelegs and wraps around the ribcage and attaches to the spine with the obliques connecting to the ribs underneath it and curling towards the waist. as it stands the infraspinatus looks like it is just sitting on the side of the ribcage and the obliques in turn do not sit quite right.

You have done good work on the eyes and teeth but the symmetry is going to throw people off, almost nothing natural has perfectly symmetrical teeth or face.

don't suppose you could give this a gander. centiumcuspis.deviantart.com/a…

Thank you i see your point about the muscelature and im only just now starting to go in to making it and defining the body more, ill update this when im done.
yes its very symetrical this is to save polygons and texture space on the final model (i basicaly only have to make one side of the creature and then mirror it over)

i apprichiate the long reply and all the feedback!
ill take a look at your wolfman and leave you some feedback in return if you like

Thanks and have a pleasant (insert time frame).

I did this one character were I mirrored the limbs but not the face and body. it puts asymmetry where its most useful and saves space where it is less useful. you don't have to do this its just an idea ( and admittedly one that can be tedious to implement without programs designed to do it, like substance painter).

As for the wolf guy, he is almost more gorilla wolf than man wolf at this point. snappy dresser though.

It looks great! I have the feeling that it could look even more feline:
- Protuding shoulder blades that roll when the animal walk are typical from felines. It looks good, but maybe you'll want to emphasize it more.
- Barreled-out torsos and thin bellies are canine, not feline. On felines, the largest part of the torso is almost at the back of the ribcage, so the opposite of this ribcage. And the ribcage doesn't protude between the arms at the front; it only does on canine.
- The stubby limbs are perfect. Felines have thick limbs, so it fits perfectly.

Otherwise it looks completely badass. I love those teeth

thise are very good observations! thank you so much, i have to admit even tho i own a housecat and a dog i spent so much more time looking at dogs than cats, so i guess thats the anatomy that comes naturaly to me.

i pulled up a picture of tiger anatomy and i can see very clearly what you mean with the ribcage and thin whaist area, i tried it out. It lost to much of the slim and sleep snake like vibe tho. ill definetly try to exagerate the sholder blades tho taht a very good idea

thank you a lot for taking the time to comment ill definetly not forget those tips when i do felines in the future!

No problem

Actually dogs can jump pretty high too. It's true they're more compatible with the snake look, while felines can go with other reptiles pretty well. They share the rounded belly
