Description
Hey guys, this is my design for the mutant heli-spider (or in this case, mutant heli-bat-scorpion-thing), Airachnid. This has to be the messiest and saddest design I've ever done, but it looks extremely awesome! (BTW, the reason she has 2 symbols is to show that she is leaning more toward Autobot, but she's still a Decepticon.) I hope you like her.

A little about this concept:

- Her alt mode is a presidential MV-22 Osprey with orange windows.

- She used to be a Decepticon assassin named Airstrike (alt mode was an AH-64 Apache) , who was punished severely for supporting the Autobots and organics, as well as even getting in front of a human girl to defend her. She was infused with Vampire bat, spider, and scorpion DNA, along with other DNA that is constantly being pumped into her as an ongoing punishment.

- Her courage is so low because she wanders the desert, scared and alone, just wanting someone to help her.

- The DNA injectors in her body only stop injecting when she sleeps, so every waking moment of is a torrent of pain.

- The only thing that comforts her is the teddy bear that little girl gave her for protecting her.

- Airachnid constantly struggles with the DNA's instincts taking over at the most inconvenient times.

- Her lower half actually roars and speaks from time to time, and it represents her animalistic side.

- Personality-wise, Airachnid was a lot more mature as Airstrike, but she has since become like a lost little girl looking for someone to take care of her. Sometimes she can sting out of pure timidity and has a tendency to bite people and apologize frantically.

- The transformation is really complex and cool. The rotors and wings become the legs, the paneling on the top becomes the bat wings, the tail becomes the arms, the passenger section becomes the upper and lower body, and the cockpit becomes the stinger.

- If I had a voice for her, it would be a slightly distorted version of Michelle Ruff's voice for Martel in Tales of Phantasia: The Animation.
