Because when a homicidal maniac in flesh-eating sneakers decides you're lunch, you'd better pray those Nuclear-powered Combat Boots actually work.

So far, much of the existing Ever After fanart has been of Little Red, and originally I too was planning to ride the wagon train... Until the very mental image of unconventional foot-equipped warfare compelled me to create this deviation.

I mean, why wouldn't this be a great battle? Two titans duking it out with only their FEET. With the latest advancements in Foot-based weaponry, such madness becomes possible... that and I've seen so little fanart of Tom Thumb and his murderous footware it would be FUN. Mr. Boots better watch out. =o

Endling is an amazing artist. And the nice thing is, for someone with that much talent, he's really a great guy. Most really popular artists I know are on a high horse atop a pedestal on a mountain peak on top of five tortoises and an elephant. endling, however, leaves the comfort of his horse, pedestal, et cetera et cetera to engage us mere mortals in casual conversation. Which is what ultimately compelled me to break my fanart taboo.

Just don't ask what posessed me to doodle those little scribbles on the bottom. Especially the one where Dr. Crooked has his arm draped around Shaun's shoulder. <.< Let's just say the doodles are what waltzed though my mind whilst I was drawing this... and leave it at that. >.> I don't want to end up in the EverAfter Asylum myself.
