Ruth, you never cease to amaze me. Sometimes I enter your glorious words just to sit awhile. I absorb them into my being, rest in the joy of them, enter into the golden light of their radiance.

How good it is to do that in your poetry, and today you spoke of me. I was so totally human today in my emotions, Ruth. I was elated, encouraged, proud, sad and devastated all in one day. Perhaps it happens to all. I am actually ashamed sometimes that I react to situations in my humanity when I have such enormous blessings in my life.

How can I thank you for these beautiful words? I imagine you and I each have a bright star in the heavens. Our stars crossed paths one night and because of the joy in that meeting exploded into softly driven sprinkles of stardust. I think I feel those lovely sprinkles when I read your name and your poetry, when I see your picture in comments. You are a wonderful poet, Ruth, a destined soul, a precious friend. I thank you very much.
