Note: This is not for the contest I'm holding! This is just what I did on my own time.
Did a redraw of this old Deviation! About one year old, so I figured it was a good measure of how much I've improved since then! I've learned not to abuse custom Photoshop brushes as much PFF XP (In my new one, I only used the defaults. Just played with scattering and stuff!)
Overall, I'm fairly pleased.
There's still a long way to go, but as long as I keep moving, progress will be made.Enjoy!
Also I apologize if this is in the wrong category. It gets a little confusing figuring out where your own persona is supposed to go XD

I can definitely see an improvement between the two especially in the shading! I like how the pose and facial expression came out as well.

*bricked* Really it just takes time and work! I could be workin' even harder than I have the past year and probably would have made a bigger improvement jump. Still workin' on the workflow. uwu;

BUT OFTEN THE HARDEST THINGS ARE THE MOST WORTHWHILE. uwu Once you learn stuff, you never have to go back and learn it again! Brush up sure, but then you'll know it for the most part so it wont NEARLY be as hard.
PLUS BETTER ARTS AND BEING ABLE TO DRAW WHAT YOU WANT. WOOOOO
