So I got two sketchbooks of black paper for Christmas specifically to do Undertale stuff, and now I'm finally using it. Here are Frisk, Asriel, Chara, the six main boss monsters and their corresponding human souls, and my OC, Sam, all ready to fight to protect... something. Each other? I don't know, I just wanted it to look cool.I'm actually really proud of myself for this one. Sans actually looks good. Papyrus actually looks good. Alphys actually looks good, despite my never having drawn her before because I was scared. Undyne actually looks good, and I was really nervous about drawing her. Everyone else... is probably the reason why I'm going to hate this in a few months, but right now I'm happy with it.
And... yeah, Alex got kind of lost because the darker blue colored pencil was too dark. It's better in the picture than it is in real life because on the paper you can barely see them, but they still look like a ghost. Which I suppose is appropriate, but... definitely not what I was going for.
Funny story, my dad walked in while I was doing the finishing touches on this, took one look, pointed at Sans, and said "I like him." My dad doesn't know anything about Undertale and he still picked out Sans as his favorite. I was just like, "Yeah, so does the entire Internet."
Undertale, along with all it's characters, belongs to Toby Fox.
Casey, Ashton, Drew, Ari, Alex, and Robin are my headcanon versions of the six human souls.
Sam is my OC.

I basically have an idea that each of the boss monsters relates to a certain human soul based on the trait of the soul and what we see them do in the game. Sans relates to the Cyan Soul (Patience), Papyrus to the Blue Soul (Integrity), Undyne to the Green Soul (Kindness), Alphys to the Yellow Soul (Justice), Toriel to the Purple Soul (Perseverance), and Asgore to the Orange Soul (Courage). I hope I answered your question. I'm currently working on a story where this comes into play, and that's what this drawing is kind of based on. It will be better explained there, I promise.
And Sam is half-human half-monster, so they have a hybrid soul.

Well, yes, in fact, they do. In fact, in my headcanon, that's the reason why they can turn souls that color.

Well, to me, she just seems like a genuinely caring person. I guess if you want an example, you could take Papyrus. She trained him even though she didn't have to, and even after she realized he wouldn't make it into the Royal Guard. When she did realize she couldn't let him in, she started teaching him how to cook, in hopes that he could do something else with his life. She could have decided it just wasn't her problem and stopped training him, but she didn't.
As for Alphys, I had kind of an interesting idea surrounding her, which is that she has a great sense of justice, and that's part of why hiding the Amalgamates and her mistakes takes such a big toll on her.

Yeah, I know. Believe me, it's worse in real life. I applied a bunch of filters to it, trying to bake it come out better, but I couldn't get much more than a fuzzy ghost image. *sigh* Next time, I'll just have to do something better.
