Description Inspired by the song Seven Devils by Florence and the Machine.

I dunno, I just liked the idea of all the human souls having some kind of influence over Frisk during the genocide run. They're not the ones who are driving Frisk to do it, but once the accumulated LOVE starts to get to them, they start helping to push Frisk along with their own fears and resentments. I also wanted to show off the updated versions of my six human souls. I want to show them off individually, but for now I'll just give you the basic rundown.

I'll start with Chara, who you all know, the First Child, the Red Soul, the Angel of Determination. I don't really see Chara as a demon, I just kind of drew them that way here to fit in with everyone else. Chara's smile is their neutral face, for them the same blank expression everyone else is wearing. Due to their love for monsters, they're the last soul to succumb to LOVE, but after watching so many monsters (including their mother) died, they're overwhelmed. They feed Frisk their hatred for humanity, which stems from the abuse they suffered before falling into the Underground and watching Asriel, their brother and best friend, slaughtered. Over the course of the genocide run, this becomes a hatred for all things living, all of which is channeled through Frisk.

The leftmost child is Alex, the Second Child, the Blue Soul, the Angel of Integrity. Their name used to be Mar, but I didn't really like it, so I decided to change it. Alex is a dancer, obviously, and they're a great performer. Off the stage, they're outgoing and honest to a fault. They're not afraid to be themselves. They fell not to long after Chara and Asriel's deaths. It was an unfortunate twist of fate. Had they fallen later, Asgore might not have gone through with his plan. But after one child was dead, Asgore couldn't bring himself to stop. Their biggest fear is to disappear and be forgotten, and they channel a lot of that into Frisk during the genocide run, along with their anger at having been killed by monsters.

Just left of Chara is Robin, the Third Child, the Purple Soul, the Angel of Perseverance. Their name used to be Emis, but I wanted them to have a real name, so here it is. Robin is very smart and scientific, and they didn't believe in monsters until they fell. When they did realize that monsters were real, they were scared, and hostile as a result, killing a few monsters before making it to Asgore's castle, where they were killed. In the genocide run, Robin channels their fear of and hostility towards monsters into Frisk, which in the genocide run develops into hatred.

To the far right is Ashton, the Fourth Child, the Green Soul, the Angel of Kindness. They were badly bullied on the surface, leading them to be convinced that they were nothing but a burden to their family and to humankind. Eventually, they fled to Mt. Ebott to commit suicide, but instead ended up the Underground. Ashton believed themself to be nothing more than a burden, and once they learned that seven human souls were needed to break the barrier, they gave up their life willingly. Under normal circumstances, Ashton would never dream of hurting anyone, but eventually the LOVE gained on the genocide run corrupted them too. What they channel into Frisk is a complete disregard for their own well-being, allowing Frisk to recklessly fling themselves at much stronger enemies again and again until they've won.

To the left of Ashton is Drew, the Fifth Child, the Yellow Soul, the Angel of Justice. Their name used to be Avery, but Drew seemed to fit them better and there were too many "A" names, so I changed it. Drew's best friend in the world was their dog. One day, the dog ran away, and Drew chased it all the way to Mt. Ebott, where they lost it and eventually fell down. When they learned of Alex, Robin, and Ashton's fates from Toriel, they made up their mind to avenge them. Their journey through the Underground was decidedly neutral, as they spared and killed every monster according to their own discretion until they reached Waterfall, where they learned of the war and how monsters had been sealed Underground from the Captain of the Royal Guard. After hearing the full story, Drew surrendered, giving up their own life to correct the injustice done to monster kind. During the genocide run, the desire for revenge comes back and is channeled into Frisk

The other two children are Ari, the Sixth Child, the Cyan Soul, the Angel of Patience; and Casey, the Seventh Child, the Orange Soul, the Angel of Courage. Casey used to be called Kell, but like Robin, I wanted him to have a real name. Funnily enough, "Casey" actually means "brave", but I didn't know that when I renamed him. I actually got the name from Casey Jones of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Anyway, Ari and Casey are siblings and they climbed the mountain together. When Casey fell, Ari jumped in after him. Ari was shy and quiet, but a staunch pacifist, leading her sibling to spare every monster they met until they reached Waterfall and met the Captain of the Royal Guard, who killed Ari. Overcome by grief and anger, Casey killed the Captain and, carrying Ari's soul, made their way through Hotland killing every monster they came across. Asgore had to confront them before they reached New Home and slaughtered the countless monsters living there. Knowing they stood no chance against the king, Casey allowed themself to be killed and joined their sibling. In the genocide run, Casey's anger and want for revenge, for themself and Ari, are reawakened and channeled into Frisk. Ari, while a firm pacifist normally, is eventually corrupted by LOVE, the second-to-last to succumb.

And then we have Frisk, the Ninth Child, the Angel, or in this case, the Angel of Death. And yes, they are the Ninth, not the Eighth. The Eighth Child in my headcanon is an OC of mine who is not depicted here. Plus, Ninth just sounds better and more epic than Eighth, so that's what I wanted Frisk to be. Orphaned or abandoned, Frisk doesn't know, but they've been alone on the streets for as long as they can remember. Somehow, they survived, but felt they had no reason for doing so, since they had no friends, no family, and nothing to give the world. Eventually, they climbed Mt. Ebott, not to kill themselves, but simply to disappear. The genocide route happens because Frisk has been exposed to violence all their life, so when they were attacked by monsters, they lashed out in fear and self-preservation. By the time they realized that monsters posed no real threat to them, they had already been overtaken by the LOVE they had gained.

At some point, I'd like to do a pacifist version of this, just to balance this out.

Oh, look, it's the return of the super long description.

Frisk, Chara, and Undertale belong to Toby Fox.
My headcanon versions of the six human souls belong to me.

Enjoy!
