Yo, remember when Misty and Brock told Ash to stop babying Larvitar despite Larvitar being a literal newborn? Cuz I sure fuckin' do.

I honestly have no idea why Misty and Brock would say shit like that, especially considering Misty has been babying Togepi for 200~ episodes up to that point. Did the writers just forget or what.

At least we got Ash baby-talking and very blatantly loving on Larvitar, which is BLESSED CONTENT.

Anyhow, I turned my dumb salty energy into ghey energy because what a perfect way for the gheys to proper interact without Skye wanting to die the entire time like the first time they met.

The way into Skye's heart is loving baby Pokémon, so seeing Ash shamelessly adoring Larvitar definitely made Skye think twice about Ash. which then slowly snowballed into falling in love with the guy rip in pieces

For Greyscale, I'm using the leveling rates from the games to help gauge how long it takes different Pokémon to mature. Larvitar have a low leveling rate, so it takes longer for them to mature into an adult--which is why Larvitar and Platinum look different!

I decided to make Larvitar look like a tiny, soft baby because that's what he is and I put Platinum in there for a comparison of sorts to show what a typical Larvitar looks like.
