Discovery of The Mega Monolith:

During a Battle Between Star Superion and the evil Doctor Zog and his Salamandermen in South America, The Star Superion fell into a small Cave, following his illuminations given off by his body, which acts as an energy battery storing and drawing plasma, hydrogen, light, solar and various other sources of energy fuels, Star Superion stumbled upon an ancient Tomb, and shrine, deep within the cavern.

Dr. Zog, who having studied the Ancient Language of the Inca's realized that the cave was actually a Prison set forth by the ancient Incas to protect them from the power of the Eyes of inti, Inti is the Incan Sun God, which are ancient talismans powered by the light of the sun, and would give life to an ancient Golem Guardian dubbed by Star Superion as the Mega Monolith.

Dr. Zog using the Energy given off by Star Superion succeeded in bringing the Monolith to life and convincing the ancient Protector that Star Superion was a Threat, a monumental battle ensued, which leveled the Temple and allowed Dr. Zog to escape.

Star Superion eventually became victorious and convinced the Mega Monolith of his Status as a Guardian and defender of Humanity. Mega monolith decided to accompany Star Superion back to New York and join the Guardian Legion and Protect Humanity from evil.

The Mega Monolith becomes dormant in the absence of light, for the Mystical and jeweled talismans on the Monolith's crown and Chest are what gives his Rock body life and strength. The Jewels found within his rock body are called the eyes of Inti, the Incan sun god. He can also focus Solar energy into a small but powerful laser blast from his crown.
