Description
Just to show that I am still working on this pic, slowly but surely (chest, shoulder, hands and a bit of the helmet left to do on the armor itself. Then on to the bodysuit.). Though now that I finally started to work on the Sangheili himself, I have realized the rest of the pic will need to be redone. Compared to the Sangheili, the enviroment looks...out of place (or vise versa). The rocks look horrible anyway...too flat (plus I tried to get fancy with them, which worked against me) and the clouds...ugh.....I am starting to hate environments more then I do armor (armor I am OK with coloring wise: it's drawing it in the first place that is a PITA).

I like this drawing. The detail on the landscape is great so far, the contours seem to jump out of the page and provide that extra level of depth that is required. The pose looks very natural. I particularly like the rotation on the legs.

Its impressive to see the entire process from start to end. Your art work is simply amazing! Hope to see this in the future when it is complete.
Love that you took your artistic powers and made the spec ops armor more sensible. Unfortunately I really like the heavier set Ultra armor, but still damn impressive.

I like how this is turning out so far! I do have to agree with you though that Zeno looks a little out of place in contrast to the background. Speaking of which, I thought it looked fine! Granted, the rocks in the foreground look a tad flat, but the mountains in the back and the clouds look great!
This air of stealth you're portraying makes me think of a junglescape, maybe looking through some thick foliage or something like that? It's your choice what you finally choose, but just a friendly suggestion.
I can't wait to see the final product! I always love your works with aliens!

Wow... despite what you pointed out, this is simply incredible! Personally, I would make the armor with a bit more black, but hey, that is completely your decision. Epic job!

Yes! A Sangheili, I knew it! I see the energy sword but where is the plasma repeater? Or the Unggoy Specialists or Kig-yar? If you could also draw a pair of Mgalekgolo Bond Brothers that would be awesome! I really like the shade of Dark purple you used for His armour.

This is a pic of my OC Zeno 'Ribal(ee), he is a member of a recon unit, so he is with no one else but one other Sangheili (whom I may or may not put in). As for where his other weapon is: Zeno specializes in duel welding a special kind of energy sword, the Kisan. The other sword hilt can't be seen in this pic due to the position of his right leg.

Techniquely, A sangheili is honour bound to never leave without adequate protection and a balanced arsenal. by choosing dual plasma swords, he leaves himself open to ranged attack. As long as we are on this topic, Sangheili would also rather die with an assault rifle at their feet than use a humans weapon.

Well, Zeno does keep a plasma rifle with him as well for such long distance situations, plus he has his partner, Miko watching his back as well. I did consider including a plasma rifle or other long range weapon, but considering the angle of his body, likely wouldn't see it anyway.

I would Highly recommend a super-combine carbine repeater or Needle rifle, but otherwise it is very accurate and quite passively inventive with the plot
