Definitely not. Wouldn't be much of a curse if the footwear was able to forget it used to be human. Don't get me wrong I fully believe the beginning of the curse will be very fun finally knowing what it is like to be footwear. Over time having human thoughts, and knowing what used to be will be torture though. It needs to stay this way to truly gain a human perspective of what it would be like to be footwear though.

She would have to convince her mother to claim ownership of you. Females are superior so they deserve the right to choose who they are going to own as their footwear. I guess if she tricks her mom into claiming you without caring who it is, or knowing that it used to be someone that is a possibility though.
