nice... yah I have playing since the same time as you and Dark. I have a lot of hours logged but I can't remember.

Oh right.. 14+ hours as medic on top. Less than 45 min as scout at bottom. Spy in middle for a nice 11 hours and several thousand backstabs. The most back stabs I have ever gotten in one life is 1230. And THAT is because of grieving an achievement server. Which only happens when I get pissed off.
Now I've been trying to be someone other than the Medic or Pyro who are my top two. Last game I got top of the score with Dark behind me on the board and I was a sniper.
Quotes Dark "GET BACK ON THE BATTLEMENTS WHERE YOU BELONG!" -because I was going rogue sniper and sniping from point blank and sometimes in the enemy's base! Try that sometime.. You'll piss a lot of people off but no one on your team.. except Dark who apparently follows a code of ethics for each class.

I got taken out by a point blank headshot as I was uncloaking behind a Sniper. I felt gypped.

See spy is a tricky class but they are so fun when you know wat ur doing i got 12 hours playing as a spy.

Quick switch (q) defaults to weapon 2, always. Knife is melee, melee is weapon 3, always.

Yes, but it would make sense in the Spy’s case to have the butterfly knife as the second slot weapon because it is used much more often on the battlefield and would be handier to pull out in a pinch than the sapper. I wish that it was possible to customize your default weapon loadout.

It's in the programming to be the way I explained. Because of people with a preference as you described, they have added the ability for using class-based key configuration files.

Spies are pretty useful. Most classes are. But good lord, being spy rushed on dustbowl is down right annoying. They're not nessecarily hard one on one but when they're four of them wtf are you gonna do all by your lonesome self. Everyone else is busy blowing shit up or incinerating scouts but then poor ol' Engi is left to party it up with Mr.Electro Sapper.

I've only pulled off sap and stab twice once with a level 1 sentry and the other a level 3 with the help of a pyro. Very satisfying. Giving them the old monkey in the middle tactic is fun too.

I've never liked spy. Ive played an impressive 4 hours as the class (compared to my 42 as soldier, and 41 as engineer) but still dont like it.
I suppose its because i hate them so very, very much.

Ha, nice. Things usually work out nicely for the first few rounds when I play Spy. Unfortunately, the whole team tends to switch classes after I score a few backstabs. Ah well, it's sometimes nice to play something other than Medic.
