I'll admit I should have seen it coming... but I was caught off guard and that "backstabing scumbag", once again, managed to trick me into believing he was someone he wasn't... Amazing. Just amazing.
In plot, this is nothing short of epic. The way each panel progressed which lead to its tragic ending only made that last panel hit you that much harder. I was in awe for minutes at how it all unfolded, just as it seemed everything would have a happy ending. You also captured the thought of war in an amazing concept. War is what TF2 is all about but you brought it into a new light. From the beginning these characters bring a personality that follows through to the end. I sympathized with them, felt bad for them, and found myself angered by their actions. Not many people can make me feel that way with their art and I'm sure I wasn't the only one you affected.
Theres so much going on in this one strip that it's hard to cover it all. The art is so sketchy and at times messy, but it sets just the right mood and brings life to these characters. I've never seen anything like it.
That last panel's pose fits Spy's personality and mood perfect. Great way to end an amazing original comic with a classy cliche line. It truly moved me.
It has humor, plot, and style. I wouldn't change a single thing. This entire comic is perfect just the way it is.

This is a good comic, but the ending. The ending is just horrible and forced, I feel like you had an idea to make it a longer comic with an amazing story, but you scrapped it when you made this part. The ending is very disappointing.

I kind of blame "Respawn of the Dead" for making me suspect the twist ending ever since I was told that there'd be a twist, but it's still a good one, nonetheless.

Oh my god... This was so f**king good! The twists and the turns throughout the entire story was awesome, and the ending... Phew! I could almost feel myself tearing up! Great job dude!!

My gosh this is so good! Such a good story.
I play Spy, and typically no matter what Spies do, I love them. I love the sneaking and backstabbing and fooling and trolling; I love absolutely despises Spies and get so frustrated with them. As for the character, I love the natural two-faced quality of him and the secrets he must keep. Pretty much, no matter how nasty the Spy, I love him so much. In fact, usually the nastier the better.
But this story was different. You made me want to give the Spy a serious punch to the face. And a kick to the groin. And OH MY GOSH HOW COULD HE! D=< Basically, for me to be this angry with the Spy, that takes some seriously good story telling skills. I enjoyed it very much.

Though my friend tells me I now understand how much everyone else dislikes Spy normally. =/ I totally did not see that end coming, but she sort of did, because she says she generally sees him as the evil, conniving, two-faced bastard you portrayed him as, anyways. Well then.

You, i have to thank you, you have made me began to like scout. before, i just thought he was a fast, dumb, hard to kill prick. but i'm starting to lean he can be a level headed guy if needed. and now i'm starting to hate he class i love. spy.
