Barely clinging to consciousness Spiderman slumped over the mannequin. Grimm punched him again in the side of his head. The blow completely knocked him out. His limbs went limp, while his head thudded against the pavement. From behind them Blue Devil groaned as he struggled to rise to his feet. General Mayhem lent him a hand."God, I think I cracked a rib," the azure-clad villain intimated.
"You're so thin-skinned," Hard Shell teased as he slid the mannequin out of the way. "That suit has all the protection of a circumcised penis."
"So you're tryin' to say I need a Hard Shell," Blue Devil quipped. "Just how hard is your shell?" He and Hard Shell purposefully peppered their banter with homoerotic suggestions. It made Grimm uncomfortable, and his discomfort always amused them, even though they were straight.
"Hey, how about a nut for a rib?" Mayhem suggested as he lifted up Spiderman in a bearhug.
The Blue Devil laughed and slapped Mayhem on the backside. "Okay, let's get crackin'!"
