Description Spiderman had glided down from the Quinjet and almost immediately noticed that the area was wrongly quiet and empty.   It didn't faze him that his com signal was apparently being jammed.   He had been in similar situations although this particular ruse he thought was clumsily executed.   He decided to continue with his mission parameters and attempt to trip the trap, trusting that Spiderwoman would be like-minded in her situational appraisal.   He took up his position on the ground.   His Spidey sense warned him of approaching danger.  He steeled himself as he started to scan for threats.   He didn't flinch when he felt himself being grabbed from behind.

"Man, the streets just aren't safe anymore," he quipped.   Instinctively he decided to toss his opponent over his shoulders.  He made the effort, then suddenly his strength felt drained.  His vision grew dim.    Whatever words he intended to say emerged only as an incoherent mumble.    His assailant threw him against a wall.    For a moment Spiderman's vision focused enough for him to see a man clad in a blue bodysuit and wearing a luchador mask.   His name was Agent Azure.   His strength-enhancing combat suit combined with his arsenal of wrestling moves made him a formidable opponent.   His chokeholds were of sufficient strength to make a meta-powered human succumb as quickly and easily as a normal person.   In the past he had defeated Spiderman and the Batman together.   Spiderman tried to slip under him and reverse his position.  He failed.  Agent Azure pressed him tight against the wall, his leg choking the consciousness from him while a flurry of fists worked to beat it out of him.  He knew Agent Azure was toying with him, letting him remain conscious just long enough to demonstrate his superiority.   In desperation Spiderman lunged for his mask.   He succeeded in ripping it off his head.

Just as Agent Azure could not resist showboating, Spidey couldn't resist the opportunity to gloat.   That short moment of coming up with a Scooby-Doo allusion was long enough for Agent Azure to end the fight.    A hard punch under Spiderman's chin knocked him to his knees.   Agent Azure lifted him up by his arm, then delivered a karate chop to his neck that finished him.  Spiderman was out cold.    Agent Azure shoved him away.  Spiderman collapsed on his rear, bumping into a trash can.    The clank of metal on concrete broke the silence.

An ebullient Agent Azure jabbed his finger at his defeated prey.  "Now sit there and shut up," he commanded.   An unconscious Spiderman could not do otherwise.    A gentle breeze wafting on Agent Azure's face made him inhale and sigh in content.   He never really liked wearing the mask.  "Today," he said aloud, "Agent Azure will no longer hide his manly face beneath the mask."  Thoughts of his comely comrade, Shou, entered his mind.    He turned around with swagger and looked down the alleyway.   Shou approached him, Spiderwoman draped over her shoulders.   "Shou darling, a pair of Spiders for our master's eyes, but to have you would be the best prize," he rhymed in a singsong voice.
