Thanks!   I'm a big Storm fan too.   She's always been a favorite of mine.   I just recently bought  three X-Men omnibus (brand new but way below the retail price) to revisit classic Byrne-Claremont Storm in the highest quality print available.

I would do more with her, but in 3D she's not easy to work with.    Pin-ups shots are fine, but if I do something with action, the limitations of the 3d models I have make it impossible to do her justice without a lot of work and time, which I don't have.    I wish I could though!

Thanks!   I'm still working on making her look just right.   I love the character Storm.   I haven't seen XMen Apocalypse yet.  From the trailers I was kinda disappointed when I saw they went with the mohawk look.  Her classic uniform and long ivory tresses would have been great.    Did you see it, the new X-Men?

Yeah, I was also kind of disappointed that they went with that look. At least they got Psylocke right. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I will probably see it at some point. Although from what I've heard, I'm not that excited about it. Apparently they treat quite a few of the characters as extras, and they give too much screen time to Mistique once again.

You're right about Psylocke.   Her costume looked spot on. Ditto about the changeling.   For whatever reason the filmmakers really like her character.      I think it comes out on Blu-ray/on-demand in Oct., so I'll probably rent it then.

Thanks, jimbor.   This is a first attempt, but it's also a start at jump-starting back into Storm.   I wanted to have some wind effects beneath her.   Since her cape is just hanging there and not billowing, I was limited with trying to do some effects under her feet.   I love Storm's cape in the comics, but in hobby 3D capes are a pain.  Kinda surprised that's the case since capes in video games can look awesome (like Batman's in the Arkham games).  And most stuff in video games is very low-poly compared to the stuff in hobby 3D.

Interesting to learn about capes I did not realize they were so difficult
