I first saw this on CGTalk a while back, and am pleased to see it here now as well. At the time I went to look for the highest resolution copy as I could find just so I could examine the wonderful detail, expression, and posing. The battle damage, ad-hoc repairs, and (to be expected from these crazy resocialized criminals) suit art make for a truly unique work.
I especially like the surreal nature of the entire scene. The title complements it perfectly.
Now it's hard for me to think of StarCraft without coming back to this work. As much as I am fond of Blizzard's cinematics, part of me is disappointed that their marines don't look like, well... _this_.
I can only echo the wish for more such works in the future. But no rush. I can only imagine what sort of work goes into making a singles piece like this.

By far the best Dramatic Terran Marine Artwork I've ever seen done without using computer models. Keep it up, I would love to see more variations using this theme.

By the way, I love the fact you have done the Original Marine, C-14 and everything. Its nice when people get creative, but not with classic Icons. When Starcraft:Ghost was still on the menu, I couldn't stomach what blizzard was doing to the Marine, but I forgive them, as the Starcraft 2 Announcement video came out, and now the Marine looks like a Marine, just a little bit more fancy.

I'm still for getting back the battered and worn look, but I guess SC2's marine does look a lot better than the mishaps they creates for ghost.

Well, for the longest time, the Battle of the Amerigo set the standard for me and Marines, and made me wish beyond hope that a FPS for Starcraft from Terran Marines perspective would come. But, knowing blizzard, and seeing the stuff that they dropped with the whole Ghost project, they would have made it light and cartoony, when it could have been so dark, gritty, and awesome.
