UPDATE: January 2012 Now with squeaky clean lineart! I was getting a lot of complains about the outlines, so I went back, pixel by pixel and retouched them all.VERSION 3 NOW POSTED A more detailed version has been posted here: [link]
About the Art: A year or so ago, I colored my black and white version of God of War. At the time, I thought it was awesome. After doing my second livestream, i decided that I wanted to do another one. I was looking through my gallery to see what I could color, and I saw my old god of war colored. I thought it would be a great oppertunity to improve it and make it better than it was, so I started almost from scratch and recolored it. I have to say, I am very pleased with the results. I need to add some things still, but, for now, I am finished with it.

Materials Used: To color this, I used a mouse and a website called picnik.com and just used "doodle", utilizing various options such as nomal, multiply, overlay, ect. Nothing too fancy.

Wow! You managed to bring out the strong character in Kratos! And the red and the gold add to the royalty. Yet, I can't help but notice that your line art is a bit rough.
It seems that you scanned your drawing and coloured it digitally. You should think about making the lineart all black, coz the white noise in your lineart doesn't help give out the bold look of Kratos.
Just be sure to make the lineart clean for a better picture next time.

The base appearance looks pretty good. Now you should try and refine the outlines and sharpen them up a bit more. There's a choppy outline around the weapons and Kratos' body. Just keep refining and working on what you have.

By the way, the other one isn't bad, but lighten up a bit on the shading and shadows. It overbears on the piece.

That's no way to play it! It's the sort of game where you have to play the first one first and get into the storyline! Seriously, the way the wrote the first story and how they carried that through into the game, slowly revealing his past piece by piece was just wonderful! You don't know his whole past, yet, do you?

Oohh, right right right. And it probably isn't dubbed in portuguese, is it? Shame, I figure brazil doesn't get a lot of games because of that. yeah, i'll agree with you there. Based on gameplay alone, it isn't particularly special, (although it is still a lot of fun to play). The story combined with the gameplay is what makes it truly unique. I would recommend playing through the first one at least.
