Description
Her name, as well as the season of her surroundings, is Autumn. Just felt like doing a random portrait to cheer me up a bit after losing some of my other artwork on a corrupted hard drive.

I love her expression! The colors are really nice too. I also think you did a wonderful job on the features of her elven face. The eyes and nose (esspecially their shape) really pull off the invisioned image of her race. I like how the ears are subtlely sticking out.

I still may recover them when I get back to the states. But then again, I've really advanced so much in my skills since then (or so I'd like to hope), that recovering those at this point may be obsolete.

Her eyes are AMAZING. Especially the eyeshines, oh my. The jewel is well done, as is the realism... The only thing that I see could be better is the gold band. It looks a little plain compared to the rest of this gorgeous image. You do such a great job with realism and its just so beautiful, how can I not fave it!?

Yeah, you're right about the gold band. I still need to get better with metals, I think. Once I do, I'm going to do a full suit of armor and wow everyone. Until that day, even my gold bands look clunky. Thanks for the comment, and glad you still liked it

*laughs* Yay, I cannot wait to see that!! I have a piece where I did metals... it was a robot thingy dude. I used lots of dodge layers all at different opacity, so that might help ya? XD

Thanks - I hate making lips - these went through so many redos its not even funny. Her hair was the most recent redo, and this piece is finally where I'm happy with it now. Glad you liked it, too, thanks

My usb-harddrive died a while ago too.. I lost all my school-files.. So I know the feeling...

Thanks - I agree. I like the softeness of it, as well. Though I liked the style before and the preciseness of it, there was just something not right about it, including a lack of depth. Hopefully I fixed that up, even if I did change the hair style and color a bit in the process. I'm finally happy with it, though, and that's what's most important, I figure.

I had seen this girl's stock gallery some time ago and found it quite hard to believe that nearly no one had made anything with her photos. I'm glad to see that you decided to use her photo as a reference to make this amazing piece! The eyes look absolutely amazing! +fav

I know! She's quite beautiful. I would have loved to have used her own hair color, but I thought that I'd drawn far too many redheads as it is. The blonde ended up fitting what I did with this so well, though, so it all worked out.
