I give you the Heroes’ Tears version of the Phoenix! Comprised of the elements of fire and air, you would be wise not to piss this large, raptor-like bird off.
We used a Philippine Eagle as a base for this one, with some obvious changes. Fiery feathers of mostly oranges and reds allow this majestic creature to fly through the air and swoop down upon his prey. Or just spit fire at them from a distance. The cardinal red version of the mineral corundum (commonly known as ruby) make up his beak and talons. Also, the purple accent feathers made for a beautiful touch, I think!
I really enjoyed designing this monstrous bird, and there will be more monsters and creatures to come!
