Description
Art trade withFreya is her OC who is the Vanir, the dragon clan, hence the nose and scales.
Her story with Loki:
She is betrothed to Loki. At first during the movie of Thor, they were in love, but she rose against him to save Jotunheim, and now he places a bit of blame on her. He still desires her, but its a love hate between them. She fought so hard to find him, even making very bad deals with Thanos to free Loki from the Void. When she freed Loki, Loki never knew she did, and his harsh words against her really hurt her, and she love/hates him after that.
It was a bit of an experiment with different perspective and lighting.. I was trying to tell the story of their relationship with this painting by the way they're a little apart, looking at each other in a certain way.. Hopefully, it worked, but I am not entirely sure..

I hope you study the actual myths and do a real freya some day, this is a very nice picture. The mythological freya has nothing to do with dragons and never wanted or had anything to do with loki romantically. Marvel is doing a great job of distorting the myths to make a buck. I do like your art, all that aside.

I don't think I've ever laughed as much as when I watched Thor. I was like: what are they doing? Why would anyone go "yeah, so we've got this bunch of fully fleshed characters with tons and tons of history between them and very defined relationships: let's just change everything except the names..."

i don't think this one was particularly inspired by the mythological Freya.. It's rather an original character who belongs to ..
It'll be fun drawing Freya from Mythology.. I might attempt it one day.

Very interesting outtake, and very interesting story. I think you got what you were trying to portray, and the experiment with the lighting worked quite well.

When I do an art for somebody's character, I really like having a story. For me, a picture has to tell a story and knowing the character's story is essential to get the look right. I have no ability to play with words what so ever, but I like telling stories using my pictures, if that makes any sense..

She's supposed to have some dragon-like features like scales, and a snake-like nose..

Okay! Interesting twist. I feared she had been in an accident or something.
