I've always loved looking at painted digital drawings but I never dared to try it because it looked so difficult. But your tutorial made it so easier and fun
It doesn't look perfect yet but it was so fun to make I'll definitely make some more painting

for humans, i need some help tbh, if you've seen my anatomy, it sucks, if you dont exactly do humans, then im fine with canine anatomy

I got really good at humans by just drawing them from photos and reference and doing a LOT of gesture sketches c: Β Everyone has their own way of breaking down human anatomy and I do it in a very sculptural way so I usually break it down into head, ribcage, pelvis.Β

Just try all sorts of different things;
A fairly famous animator once said to me to take the things you like and figure out what it is about those things you like and then incorporate it into your art. Β
Experimenting is the best thing too; and not just trying to draw like other people. Β Find your own way to draw things. Β Not everything has to be sketch>lineart>color>shading. c:

I love this website because it has the option for some of the poses to be timed so like you can do quick 30 second gesture sketches and really learn anatomy fast!! Β
