Sometimes I wonder if DC ever STOPS doing the time warp. I swear, these people have a pathological aversion to their own continuity.

I'm kind of glad that they're rebooting, if only to end all the really messed up timeline stuff. I mean, it's not like they've completely changed everything, but it does clean things up a bit.
And as for the costumes...I guess they could be worse. I mean, I'm still in mourning over the loss of the panties on Bats and Supes (Why don't we all wear underwear on top of our pants?!?!?) but I'll get used to it.
I guess I'm more mad over the fact of Wally West. Or rather, the fact that there is no Wally West.
It's like they ripped my heart out of my chest and smashed it into the ground.

Well, yeah. I mean, they confirmed the New TT still happened, but I am yet to see Wally in this continuity.

Honestly, I think Wonder Woman looks sexier WITH spandex pants than with the panties. Maybe it's because my gold standards for sexiness were Olivia Newton-John in GREASE, Erin Gray on BUCK ROGERS, and Julie Newmar's Catwoman, but I've never once gotten the appeal of showing a ton of skin. I like costumes that are skintight, but provide coverage. (It's one of the reasons I love Classic Poison Ivy, but despise Green-Skinned Leafy Ivy.) I liked the Adrianne Palicki costume and the Dc-Nu suit, and I CRINGED when they both reverted back to the panties. They make even less sense with the blue boots Diana's wearing now. With the pants, they looked great. With the panties, they look hopelessly out of place.
I really, really don't get the idea that skintight pants make Wonder Woman (a) less sexy, (b) less heroic, and (c) trashy. That's a monumental level of stupidity that beggars description.

I've noticed that my thoughts on the costume (the "classic") depends mostly on the artist. Some artists will make the costumes as skimpy as possible. A part of me still likes the bikini, but not all artists can make it look good. I find the costume looks best when Wonder Woman herself has an opposing and intimidating aura. I suppose my brain eventually got accustomed to the bikini, since so many other heroes wear similar styles.
However, when i see the two different images for the new 52, the "classic" version still looks kinda tacky to me. I'm probably a bit jaded about the change. Or maybe its because I've seen Wondy in her All New Wonder Woman look, and now without the greek looking armbands and pants, she almost seems too naked, like a part of her armor is still missing.

Wonder Woman's reboot is okay. The idea of pants never bothered me. I just hated the jacket she had in the last makeover. That really didn't make sense to me.

...man, I tried to make a comments on your Article and they didn't take. and now they've been completely erased from existence.
I'll try to summarize: This doesn't feel like a reboot, because a reboot comes to something that has basically died and needs rejuvenation. This feels like DC dropping everything to reshuffle it's continuity. Not restart, reshuffle. They're keeping some of the good parts. Because of that, I now have no clue what the canon is and now have no clue which of my comics still count and which one's don't.
At the same time, perhaps I'm simply being overly worried about how difficult the shift will be, as only time will tell.
my other point was that I miss the underwear on the outside because when something is missing, the mind will typically draw the eyes to the place in which the object should be but isn't, and I feel really uncomfortable starting at supercrotch. More importantly, it feels like there's a gap in colour there now. I think some red stripes down Supes Legs would help, and maybe a harness for Batman. Or at least some black gaps in the Bat Armor.
Speaking of armor, armor on Superman? really? It's like they couldn't come up with something to change on the design so they started adding lines to it.
Perhaps I'm just being a dinosaur but some things don't need any serious changing, and I think Superman is one of them.

Hmm, I don't know why the comment didn't take. The one you made for the Wonder Woman article just needed to checked and published by myself. But i didn't see any for the DC Reboot article. Maybe something didn't load right?

Anyway, you're right. This isn't a complete reboot. Though there are new things being added, a lot of stories are simply being deleted. But some stories, like the Killing Joke, are not being deleted. Justice League #1 wasn't the best reintroduction, so I'm just going to have to wait and see what DC has planned. Worst case senerio-- DC makes old stories cannon without properly retelling them in the reboot, making everything more confusing.
As for the costumes, the same thing happened to me. Bringing back Wonder Woman's pants, when I first saw them on her a year ago, I didn't like them for the same reason. It looked like something was missing. But i guess my eyes must have adjusted because when they changed her back to the bikini for the reboot, I realized that I actually liked the pants better.
The armor... sigh. I'm still worried about that. Not just that SuperMan has armor, but that they ALL have armor. And it's all that same "It's armor but it looks like a suit covered in lines" look.
Maybe DC is trying to change a few stereotypes in the industry. Y'know, that superheroes "wear they're underwear on the outside", "wear spandex", and "all the girls wear skimpy outfits". As long as they don't disrespect the characters at the same time *coughHarelyQuinlookslikeaslutcough*, I'm gonna wait for the actual comics.
