Its the Silver Hawk from the Darius series.I suck balls at computer so I am going back to using more traditional techniques. Not only am I crap at PSP, I hate using it too. I couldn't bare to work on the Candy Robot pic for more than an hour at a time, starring at the screen is just depressing. This, however, was bags of fun and represents only a couple of hour's work. Sadly, there always seems to be some loss of colour when scanning art like this. I fiddled around with the contrast and saturation to try and make it look better and as you can see it really brought out the yellow detailing I added. (the effect on the original piece is much more subtle.) Also the sea (yeah, thats supposed to be the sea down there) is a lot greener and looks pretty gorgeous. Hmmm. May re-submit....
I recently pre-odered a resin model kit of this spacecraft. I am looking forward to putting it together. Expect pics this summer!

i allways played darius twin with my little brother some years ago. i fell in love game's music and the silver hawk's desing. too bad the stupid konsole gone broken... i really loved the geme.

Darius was my favorite side-scrolling shooting game, and I could hardly find any Darius and Silver Hawk fanarts extremely rarely. But finally I've seen it! It's about time! Great drawing, though. I like the lines, too. I luv you. <3

I highly disagree with you being crap at PSP, but I do understand how you feel about using it. I prefer traditional coloring over CG myself, too bad I have to deal with not having a scanner... it's very annoying.
As for the pic itself, I love the design. I know it's not your own design, but it is very well done! And the coloring's wonderful, I actually did notice the sea down there.

ah, when you saturation changes, be sure to have multiple layers, this way you can only adjust the colors that you want.
cuz that yellow is urinerific!
And your sea is suffering from some weird patternized sickness. Ye can fix it up with the clone tool on PSP arr!
