Thanks for the comment - pleased you liked it Yes the pier was very busy in the Victorian era, as Clevedon was a holiday destination for Bristol people. It is still used regularly today although it came close to being demolished in 1970 when two of the spans collapsed. Thankfully, with funds from English Heritage and locals' fundraising the pier was renovated and is thought to be the most beautiful pier in the UK. History lesson over

I don't think you would be disappointed (as long as it didn't rain non stop!!) Plenty more to see in UK as well as piers
