Thank you Anna. The photo was taken in the local Botanical Gardens five years ago. There were numerous robins there at the time all very tame and following me around.  Last week I went back, same sort of time of year and lovely weather but was disappointed to find not even one robin. What has happened?

Oh he was. He probably still is. I must go back to the Botanical Gardens where we met, to see if he's still there. I'm sure I'd recognise him!!

Thank you and sorry for delayed reply ... it's almost the next weekend now and Easter too! However, last weekend was good thanks: birthday treats and meeting up with old friends I hadn't seen in a while, made it quite memorable. Hope you have a good Easter.

I had no choice with the capture: that little bird was a photographic poser. He (or she) followed me around the gardens and am sure said (or chirped)"ok here I am, you are not going to get better than this!!" What a character!
