Edit: I just realized I forgot to include this in the tutorial-- make sure your highlights layer is set to ADD.
Hey everyone! This is primarily how I color hair nowadays, and I hope this is simple enough to help you out! I included my tool settings and colors used on each step. This tutorial is designed for MediBang Paint, though you can definitely adapt it to fit another program (granted that it has a watercolor script brush similar to the one on this software).
If you're wondering where I got the colors fof this tutorial, there is actually a very nice chart on Tumblr that has the shadow, base and highlight colors for many different shades of hair! [LINK]
Unfortunately I can't give tips on how to actually DRAW hair, I'm bad at explaining that kind of stuff lmao
