Description
The result of about 10+ hours of work spread over four weeks. For those of you who can't tell, it's a portrait of Edgar Allen Poe, famous American horror writer from the mid-late 1800's. Done entirely with a mechanical pencil and charcoal on drawing paper.Related content

Marvelous bit of work here. I recognized Poe immediately from the thumbnail. The raven background is a great touch.

Thanks, the hard part was not making it look like a hat. So, I added a halo effect.
