I LIKE, I LIKE. IS VERY NICE. THANK KIND MAN FOR SHARING VERY USEFUL RESOURCE. ^_~;
Dammit, bro... thanks so much for this. Good HDRI files are hard to come across on the 'net; and they're so useful when Max users like myself are getting sick of seeing the Galileo probe reflecting on an object's surface. xD

Super cool! I'll follow suit very soon and add more of this to DA for all those hungry 3D artists out there (hungry for HDR's I mean, not literally ill fed)

I have to ask... how?
What method? The christmas bulb? Fisheye lens?
Photostitching? :S Or... gulp.. The Spherocam?!
And how many stops do you use? And eh... What focal length? What camera? (etc. etc. etc....)

I got the impression I could use these from your HDRI Map Pack 1 I think (if not just message me and I'll take the work down).

You can't use the preview file for your id, but if you make something from the hdri's you can use that for whatever you want.

I don't know if it has been posted yet but Photoshop CS2 has the ability to handle HDRI images. Photoshop also has the ability to create HDRI from a sequence of LDRI (basically plain 8 bit images). If you take Photos of the same scene at different exposures (F stops), you can go to File>Automate>Merge to HDR...Photoshop will merge these images into one and the output contains a wider range of exposures all wrapped into one photo.
Now here's something really cool that I found:
[link]
The site above has a free program that works with a number of canon digital cameras. Basically what it does is it takes over your camera and will take a series of photos at different F stops. So, what you do is set you camera up on a tripod hook your laptop up to it and let it take this series of pictures, which can than be taken into Photoshop CS2 and Merged to HDR.
I state this is for CANON cameras only, there may be something like this for other brands but as I have a Canon A620 I just happened to get lucky and found this. If you go to the site they have a color coded list of what cameras are known to work with the software. So, if you are in the market for a good digital camera and want the ease that this program can give you and have a laptop or can get your hands on one, I would definitely try this. If you already have a Canon, Photoshop CS2, tripod and laptop you would be crazy not to get this free little program because you can really get some fantastic shots by using it.
