Haha thanks. I tried to be more realistic than i usually am... which was kinda hard, so i'm glad it works for you!

My friend is going through it (huzzah for engineering friends!) so i might get it back before next lesson... hopefully. ((I wish i could be as cute as chibi me in real life!!))

I think it was just better for me to understand proper proportions, before trying different styles.

Haha, that's not so bad... or maybe it is, i dunno. I tend to wear whatever i'm wearing from the day to bed... though i usually put on fresh clothes for the next day... huh.

i like that about chibi proportions. Not all chibis have to follow the rule, but if they don't, it tends to look a bit off, you know?

Huh, i've never really thought about that, but it makes sense! I know when i started drawing hands i kept in mind that it was about the same size as the face, but i never really thought much more into it than that. It actually makes sense, lol.

Thanks! I write out my own comics, so i developed my own style to be distinct yet readable.

Ah, comic lettering. Such a labor of mixed feelings.

I got to a point where I realized hand-lettering would mean drawing and positioning the speech bubbles on paper as well, including drawing help lines until I got blue in the face, and that's about where I decided I didn't want to bother with it with my currently active comic. (I still "do" hand-letter the other one, but it's been on hiatus for around a year and a half by now.)

Ah, it's a matter of preference, i suppose. I like drawing in my own bubbles because then i know what the page will look like when i'm drawing, but my sister puts them on in the computer because she likes being able to adjust it. Her's looks more professional; i tend to go for a more "indie" look for my comics...
