Let's name the shocked cat "cat 1"
and the standing cat "cat 2"
and the laying cat "cat 3"..

Cat 2 have probably jumped on cat 3, pinning it down. Probably in a try to be romantic but cat 3 is very uncomfortable. THen cat 1 appears and sees those two cats standing over eachother and gets really uncomfortable aswell and shocked. So cat 3 feels safe just bbecause cat 2 can't do anything weird or bad if cat 1 is there.

No I don't think so or else the cat getting pinned doqn wouldn't look ao happy to see the shocked cat and the cat standing with it's back at us wouldn't blush
