First, I'll preface this with saying that your mastery of color composition really shows in the panther and the grunt pictures. they look fantastic because of the diversity between the colours. The bunny, while simple, is minimilistic but uses diverse colours pretty well.
The wolves both seem to have the same face so I'd say not to use the same animal twice, though they are both separate in style.
Having said that, I'd say that the bottom wolf accomplishes mroe than the top one, just in the fact that its more detailed and the shading is more dramatic-- it fully encompases the entire spectrum.
It seems like the electric eel is too tame comparatively, but I understand that you probably started the exercise with him and improved the contrast between colours with each picture.
