I always loved the dome on the xeno as its more mysterious being that its some what transparent, showing off some images of the skull in the right light. I found it a great way to make an alien look more personal and "in your face" when its dome is cracked. 

And nice renders on those aliens you did btw, the ridge head is very aesthetically pleasing and looks more structural sound in how the ridges work like ribs. I would like to see a comic or film having a xeno loose its dome or part of its dome as a way of singling out a main antagonist. it would also work to show the durability and toughness of the xenos. 

Lately it seems people view them more as bugs or cannon fodder, id like to make them horrifying again, Tall , imposing, and calculated.

I hate to tell you this, but I’m more of an AlienS fan, but I don’t think of them as cannon fodder, I do think of them as bugs, because in all fairness, the writers of the first movie got the idea from a bug. I love both movies, I can’t stand Alien3 or Resurrection, I liked AVP, but I understand why people hate it because of its overwhelming flaws, AVPR was terrible, I just like the Wolf Predator. I liked Prometheus and Covenant, but I think Ridley Scott is an idiot who doesn’t understand the franchise he created and rather focus on the robot.

In fact I wrote my own AlienS trilogy with Newt as the star and currently adapting them into animated movies, I finished my first one, Aliens Unleashed, and currently working on my second Aliens Apocalypse, then my third and final, Aliens Vengeance.

I thought aliens was fine i just would have gone more horror and kept a more Pack feel to the creatures and lose the queen since it makes the alien to familiar, the first film was creepy and frightening because no one knew what it wanted or what it was going to do with the people it took. keep the aliens as intelligent as the Big chap from alien like a cereal killer in space. Ash was able to communicate with the alien and actually talk to it in the Alien novelization.  i would love to see the creature shown as the intelligent Lovecraftian beast it was in Alien. 

i would love to see some one show an interesting interaction with a synthetic and the bio mechanical horror himself. 

Im glad to see others working on aliens sorry of there own. im not sure if id start writing anything for alien since im working on a comic at the moment. but id defiantly like to try my hand at it 

Alien 3 was only good if you look at the extended cut as it just seems to flow better as a film

I've seen the Alien3 extended cut. Didn't like it any better, at all. And I'm getting sick and tired of people saying that to me.

And I like the Queen.

I thought the Queen was a cool concept and loved seeing her in the comics and films i just think it detracts from the idea of it being "alien" since it makes the whole species like ants. i never really liked the AVP films for the same reason it makes the aliens into less intimidating bugs. FOX also had dropped the Giger look for the aliens in the later films so i lost a lot of interest. 

I felt the same for the Preds a swell, it took a lot of mystery away from the predators by saying the alien was their ultimate prey. i would assume they would have had to fight or hunt something much tougher. 

And when it comes to Alien 3 different strokes i guess, but i did find some enjoyment in the film as i preferred the singular xeno hunting down the humans rather than swarms of fodder.

thank you for the support. i thought it would be cool to see one without a dome or a cracked one as it looks quite intimidating.
