Description
My third submission to Project Aurora's 2nd release, Red (www.projectaurora.art/ ). It shows the arrival of a large spaceship at a mining station on an asteroid.---
Asteroid modeled in Mandelbulb3D; Spaceship, station and foreground satellites modeled in Cinema4d. All brought together for postwork and painting of the nebulae in Photoshop.

Is the wheel attached to the asteroid for centrifugal gravity?

That isn't an option I had thought about tbh, but I like it as an idea. I had it positioned primarily for proximity to the "mine", and the station in a wheel shape on the basis it would spin up to provide the gravity effect.

It would make sense for the miners to have a living area with gravity, even if most of the asteroid is in zero-G.

Yes agreed, hence the wheel shape. I had imagined it being spun around a small central hub (maybe with some sort of stabilising rockets or something), just hadn't considered the idea of anchoring it to the asteroid
