Her legs ached, carrying her faster than she was ever meant to with her throat. It burned and ached, a wheeze pressing out of her every other breath. She had to find Brai. When Mila entered the clearing the pair would always rendezvous in, a large pale figure snooped about adjacent from her. Naturally, the Chandorian assumed it was her friend. However, once she made her presence known, Mila quickly learned the truth of who it was.

Takes place immediately after this.
