My friends have pointed out that she CHOSE to join the Kyoshi Warriors instead of being forced into it, so perhaps it's some kind of catharsis for her. I don't know, I just thought it was odd.Note that this wasn't an attempt at costume design accuracy, so don't bother pointing out any discrepancies.
